Description
Request for Information Customer Service Improvement Program TAC Number: TAC-19-54402 This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid, Request for Task Execution Plan, Request for Quotation or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. Be advised that set-aside decisions may be made based on the information provided in response to this RFI. Responses should be as complete and informative as possible. **Vendors may also submit additional information not specifically requested above, which would provide value and insight to the Government. Please do not submit general capability statements, marketing materials, or other nonspecific information. ** Your response must address capabilities specific to the services required in the attached PWS and must address the following: Provide intent and ability to meet set-aside requirements for performance of this effort, if applicable Information as to available personnel and financial resources Information as to proposed team members, the percentage of work each is to perform. SDVOSBs must indicate whether at least 50% of the cost of labor is planned to be expended for prime employees or employees of other eligible SDVOSB firms. This should also include the prime planned percentage and if under 50%, the names of the potential team members that may be used to fulfill the 50% SDVOSB requirement. Describe your technical capability of designing, installing, maintaining, and providing technical support and all equipment, hardware, software and services for a Veterans Guest Internet Access (VGIA) network across multiple locations. Examples of previously completed projects of a size and/or similar scope are accepted. (It is anticipated during Option Period Two, a technology refresh may be necessary. It is not necessary to address PWS Section 5.6 at this time. More information will be provided on PWS Section 5.6 at solicitation posting.) In addition, please address the following Can VGIA be fully operations within six months after award? How long will before VGIA is operational for each facility? Please provide a Rough Order of Magnitude that breaks out the estimated labor categories/rates and level of effort for the base and one option period. A site visit is anticipated to be scheduled. How many days would be required after the date of site visit to properly scope the requirements? Please provide your technical comments/recommendations that may contribute to a more accurate proposal submission and efficient, cost effective effort.
