- The purpose of this notice is to obtain information on VA, Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) VERIFIED -- Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). Responses to this sources-sought announcement will be used by the Government to make an appropriate decision whether to set-aside this project under the Vets First Authority at 38 USC 8127(d). Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, requests letters of interest (REPLY TO JUSTUS.KLINK@VA.GOV) from SDVOSB and VOSB contractors under NAICS code 236220 General Construction Contractors; size standard $36.5 million. The work is to be performed at the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and insurance to Repair Pharmacy Clean Rooms in the hospital. Project duration is 75 days following Notice to Proceed. Work is anticipated to be performed primarily in the Spring and Summer. Interested sources shall submit the following: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number, and business status. 2. Indicate the primary nature of your business, any teaming agreements or arrangements, self- performance and intentions of subcontracting program, including Set-Asides; 3. Documentation relating to capability of performance. Provide two (2) examples of projects similar in scope, complexity, and cost magnitude of project description above. 4. Letter from the surety regarding the maximum bonding capability for a single contract action as well as the total aggregate bonding capacity. Total submittal shall be no longer than (12) twelve pages in one.pdf file or word document. Responses are required to be sent via email to no later than 5:00 PM CT, March 4th, 2019. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of potential qualified contractors before determining the method of acquisition. In addition, this sources-sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, nor will the government pay for any information solicited or delivered.
