SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE NOTE: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REQUESTING INFORMATION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. The Bay Pines VA Medical Center is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified and technically capable companies that can perform all labor and provide all required equipment to repair or remove and replace pipe, AC system, and ductwork insulation. The location of performance is the Lee County VA Healthcare Center, 2489 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909. The Period of Performance (POP) will be for a base year and 4 option years. RESPONSE: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the vendor s qualification, ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the services listed above. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources, SDVOSB, VOSB, small, and other than small businesses to perform the potential requirement described above. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. To be considered as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) interested vendors must be a verified SDVOSB/VOSB concern in the VA Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) Veteran Information Pages (VIP) pages https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate your company is qualified to perform repairs and replacement in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), manufacturer, and industry standards. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310 - Commercial and industrial machinery repair and maintenance services.
