Description

This is an update to this announcement, please see attached updated documents for additional details. The Defense Security Service (DSS) has posted a Request for Solution Brief for the Transformation of the Federal Government Personnel Vetting Enterprise. This request is a result of the direction provided to the Department of Defense to reform and modernize Federal personnel vetting. The Government seeks new bold and transformational approaches to re-engineer and prototype the process for executing the personnel vetting mission in an efficient and agile manner. In order to meet Federal mandates for timelines associated with vetting reform, proposed solution(s) will be considered to support the Government's immediate need to demonstrate a transformed capability by October 1, 2018, as well as innovative processes that can be implemented in the future. DSS intends to use its Other Transactions for Prototype Projects authority under 10 U.S.C. 2371(b) for this action.
