Synopsis for Solicitation Number N0018919Q0095- 41WB60632 Port Marine Gear Repairs at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) The NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center Norfolk (FLC), Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a firmed fixed-price, 100% Small Business Set Aside procurement action for NNSY in Portsmouth, Virginia. Repair services will be acquired utilizing procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as well as FAR Subpart 19.5 - Set-asides for Small Business. Contract performance is estimated to be completed within ninety days of contract award. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 336611 and the size standard is 1250 employees. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 22 February 2019 under RFQ number N0018919Q0095 at the following websites: https://www.neco.navy.mil and www.fbo.gov. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above websites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contract from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendor for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirement by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the internet at http://www.sam.gov.
