Description

The 410th Contracting Support Brigade is preparing for the purchase of several Keyed Fiber Modules to replace aged components within the network. See attached product description. The keyed fiber modules have been requested with a brand-name Tyco/Commscope connector. This Sources Sought notification is to determine whether the modules can be provided with a connector equal to the Tyco/Commscope brand name. The current nertwork infrastructure uses exclusively Tyco/Commscope connectors and the requested modules must provide connectors with characteristics identical to the Tyco/Commscope connectors. If your firm can provide the required number of keyed fiber modules that meet the requirements listed on the attached product description, please email a brief capability statement and spec sheet to BOTH listed points of contact. A request for quote will be posted shortly following the close of this sources sought, and may or may not contain the brand-name requirement for Tyco/Commscope connectors, depending upon the results of this sources sought.
