This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about March 5, 2019 for Provide Accessibility, B-32 at the Bath VA Medical Center. Project No. 528A6-17-606. Supply the materials, tools, and labor to completely renovate the stairwells, located between the Basement and 1st floor to 2nd floor of Building 32. Also, the addition of a bathroom on the 2nd Floor. All work will be done as defined in the drawings and specifications unless approved by the VA. The work will include all trades for general building construction. The trades used will include but are not limited to electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing, This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $36.5 M. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
