Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONTRACT to VERTIV Corp. for the purchase of a an extended warranty contract for Liebert Precision products that is maintianed by VERTIV Corp. for the Fort Greely Missle Defense System. This extended warranty maintenance award will be a sole source platform and product. VERTIV Corp. is the only vendor authorized for this service and authorized installer / maintenance of the Liebert Precision equipment. Due to its proprietary connections and functions with the Liebert equipment, VERTIV Corp. is the sole source for all products, after sales service, and warranty on all Liebert Equipment items. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals, nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based on responses to this notice and is within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A solicitation will not be issued. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (12-FEB-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
