- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 2 is issuing this sources-sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for Janitorial Services, at the Northport VA Medical Center, Kids Care Center (79 Middleville Rd, Northport, NY 11768). The VA Kids Center measures 3,121 square feet and performance will occur on the premises after 5:30PM, Monday through Friday (except federal holidays). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561720. Interested Parties should be aware that any worker assigned to perform on the resultant contract must pass a VA-initiated National Background Check BEFORE he or she can proceed with performance. Notice(s) to Proceed will be issued when employee completes a successful screening. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide a Capability Statement, as well as the following identifying information: Organization name, DUNS number, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and socioeconomic status of the organization. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) must be verified at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov if it is to be considered as such a firm. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. Based on the responses to this sources-sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed service requirement are invited to submit a response to this Sources-Sought Notice by February 22, 2019 at 5:00PM EST.
