- Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, TX is posting this combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Master Shoulder Instrument Set through the Contracting Officer in San Antonio, Texas. The government intends to make a contract award to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable vendor that can provide the required items in accordance to the attached documents, as a result of this solicitation for quotes.. This action is a total small business set-aside for service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) only. The NAICS is 339112. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate evaluations and award decisions. However, similar items must meet or exceed selected technical capabilities of the listed equipment. *** Scope of Equipment: The Master Shoulder Instrument Set is needed to deliver our Veterans surgical treatment for Orthopedic shoulder diagnosis. This master set will help our Veterans with shoulder surgery. No Master Shoulder Instrument Set has been purchased in the past as we have not had providers to perform surgical procedures needing this type of set. Our new Orthopedic provider will be performing surgical procedures in the future requiring these instruments. The Master Shoulder Instrument Set will allow an increase in Orthopedic shoulder procedures. and allow these types of cases to stay inhouse and reduce the use of community care in sending them outside the VA.
