- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, is posting a Sources Sought notice to determine interest by contractors of all business sizes for construction equipment for the Schaake Habitat Improvement Project. The Project lies south and west of the city of Ellensburg, WA. The upcoming opportunity is for Construction rental equipment. Construction is scheduled to occur May through November of 2019, and the equipment listed in the attachment will be for Reclamation crews to complete the excavation and habitat construction work. The scope of work includes providing the specified rental equipment for the duration needed, delivering the equipment, performing any necessary equipment service/ repair during the rental duration, and removing the equipment from site upon completion. The applicable NAICS code is 532412, Construction, Mining, and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, with a size standard of $32.5 million. Period of Performance is anticipated with construction beginning in May 2019 through November 2019. Interested parties are asked to provide the following information: Business Name and DUNS number; Contact information; Business size and any additional socioeconomic classification(s); Bonding capability, including current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits; Brief capabilities statement that addresses experience performing similar projects as a prime contractor; Comments or issues regarding the project. This is NOT a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bids and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this Sources Sought notice. Information obtained through this notice may be used to determine the potential for issuing a future solicitation for this project with a small business set-aside, and to provide input for the Government's overall acquisition strategy.
