Description

On the Solicitation page it asks to fill in box # 23&24, do we use the Grand total for the base and 4 option periods, or just the base year price? The Grand total should reflect the base year plus option year periods. Please include the (not to exceed) amount of $25,000 for labor rate and $25,000 for parts, base year and options years periods into the grand total amount of the contract. as for the pricing schedule item 0001 shows a unit price the the amount to the right of if and this is the same way all the way through from page 15 to 50 with a grand total price at the end. Shouldn't this just be amount since there is only one service being perform per year? Please disregard unit price. The amount should reflect the total amount of the sub-clin s. ex: for CLIN 0001 the amount will be the sum of 0001AA and 0001AB. Labor rate after hours (item 0014) do you want us to put down the labor rate per hour or the amount of hours that are covered by the $25,000.00 Labor rate per hour only. This CLIN shall be incorporated and funded when the Government has determined unscheduled repairs for parts and/or service is required and prior to performance of service. The Contractor shall be notified in a sufficient amount of time to facilitate completion of the unscheduled service and allow the Government to obtain the necessary repairs. Please include the $25,000 into the grand total amount of the contract. Still referencing the above line item. Is this labor rate to be normal operating hours? or emergency labor rate? Emergency labor rate. Shall be incorporated and funded when the Government has determined unscheduled repairs for parts and/or service is required and prior to performance of service. CLIN does this mean Contract Line Item Number? Yes line item 0016 state fuel sample analysis but in the contract it states that there is to be coolant and oil analysis samples as well. Fuel, coolant and oil samples should be part of the semi-annual and annual inspections. When we work at buildings 92,200,200n,203,210,212. who will be making the connections to from the temporary generator to the building when we are performing the annual maintenance? will it be the electricians at the VA or do we need to hire licensed electricians to make these connections? VA Electricians will be making all connections from the buildings to the portables generators. The VA electricians will supply the necessary portables with the EXCEPTION of B 200 / 1000 kw portable. That portable will be provided by the contractor at his / her cost. will there we sufficient space to park a temporary generator near each of these locations? do we need to provide flagmen or flag women to block the area off? do these areas require a fence to be installed around the generator? Parking for the portables will be made available by the VA Electrical Shop. TJC (The Joint Commision) is a certification that the hospital holds if a hospital losses this certification the hospital is not recognized a authorized hospital. How does this pertain to this contract? The outlined PM process in the contract comes from TJC standards. As long as the PM process is followed as outlined, we are good. The COR, will ensure that we are in compliance with TJC. No certification from any other entity is necessary. I have another question in regard to the maintenance contract, please see below, line item 0001 preventive maintenance service includes both the semi and annual with a unit price then a amount.   line item 0001aa is a line item for semi annual inspection with unit price and line item line item 0001ab is a line item for annual inspection and preventive maintenance with a unit price and amount price.   this continues through out the contract. Please disregard unit price for CLIN 0001. The amount should reflect the total amount of the sub-clin s. ex: for CLIN 0001 the amount will be the sum of 0001AA and 0001AB.
