Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The invitation for bid document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-01. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; where proposals are being requested. The North American Industrial Classification System is 541380. This is a 100% set-aside for small business procurement. The small business size is $15 Million, this combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for the provision of Fingertip Testing and Media Fill Analysis services in compliance with USP 797/800 requirements as required to evaluate the aseptic manipulation techniques of all sterile compounding personnel. The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards in chapter 797/800 provide strict requirements for preparing sterile products. USP 797/800 requires all hazardous drugs (such as chemotherapy) and non-hazardous drugs (IV admixtures such as IV antibiotics, large volume parenteral, TPN s) to be prepared in a biological safety cabinet (BSC) placed in an area that is physically separated with negative pressure to adjacent positive pressure ante areas or in a Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolator (CACI).
