Description
Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for firms capable of providing a Service/Maintenance contract on Siemens Nuclear Medicine Equipment (list below) at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx campus. List of equipment: # ID# Serial# Manufacturer Model Equipment Category 1 53167 2105 Siemens Symbia S SCANNING SYSTEMS: CT/SPEC 2 53138 31046 Siemens Biograph mCT 64 SCANNING SYSTEMS: CT/PET 3 53169 2032 Siemens Symbia Intevo 6 SCANNING SYSTEMS: CT/SPEC 4 N/A 72468 Siemens syngo MMWP WORKSTATIONS: MEDICAL 5 53558 2UA5131VFL Siemens Symbia.Net Single-User WORKSTATIONS: MEDICAL 6 N/A TBD Siemens MRI Syngo WORKSTATIONS: MEDICAL 7 N/A CZ352628ED Siemens Syngo Server INFORMATION SYSTEMS: DATA MGMT: RADIOLOGY The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, software updates, parts, etc., for complete first call On-Site Maintenance Service and technical support. This will include sources for the Biograph mCT 64 (Biograph mCT Annual replacement kit), which will be replaced on an annual basis. Preventive maintenance shall include but not limited to the following: Cleaning of equipment. Reviewing operating system software diagnostics to ensure that the system is operating to the manufacturer's specifications. Calibrating and lubricating the equipment. Performing remedial maintenance of non-emergent nature. Testing and replacing faulty and worn parts and/or parts which are likely to become faulty, fail or become worn. Measuring and adjusting and calibrating as necessary for optimal image quality. Inspecting electrical wiring and cables for wear and fraying. Inspecting all mechanical components including, but not limited to: patient restraints and support devices, cables and mounting hardware, chains, belts, bearings and tracks, interlocks, clutches, motors, keyboards, and patient couches for mechanical integrity, safety, and performance. Performing Electrical Safety Inspections (Electrical Leakage) which should include line cord ground wire resistance and leakage. Returning the equipment to the operating condition. Any other PM requirements as specified by the manufacturer of the equipment, SIEMENS. Provide documentation of services performed. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811219  (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the standard size is $20.5 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J065 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies). All responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email: charnell.cunningham@va.gov) and must be received not later than February 15, 2019 at 10:00AM EST. Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities (resumes), DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811219. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
