- Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix, AZ Office has a requirement for six (6) 245 KV Disconnect Switches along with spare parts and insulators. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 335313 with a size standard of 1250 employees. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about February 7, 2019. Any questions shall be submitted in writing to Western Area Power Administration, Attn: Tim Modjeski, Contract Specialist, 615 S. 43rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009-5313 or email to modjeski@wapa.gov referencing the solicitation number in the subject line.
