Description

ETA's Office of Apprenticeship (OA) is seeking information from qualified contractors to assist education institutions, faith-based organizations, workforce development entities, industry associations, joint-labor management organizations, non-profits, and other eligible organizations (Youth Apprenticeship Intermediaries ) to launch youth apprenticeship programs for in-school youth on the high school level that can increase Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) or Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs (IRAPs) in high-growth industries and sectors to meet the occupational and skill needs of those industries and provide youth a pathway into high-wage careers. These funds will support selected youth apprenticeship intermediaries in the execution and expansion of existing or new apprenticeship programs across various regions or industries. These intermediaries will partner with DOL to provide both financial and technical assistance to: educational institutions, employers, consortia of employers, industry associations, joint labor-management organizations, non-profit organizations, school districts and others in return for commitments to develop and/or expand RAPs or IRAPs.
