Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs currently leases 9,328 ABOA/net usable square feet (NUSF) in Hillsborough County, Florida for use as Health Information Management Service for the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. The VA intends to stay at the same location and continue occupancy in accordance with (IAW) authority outlined in GSAR 570.404 Succeeding Leases. However, the VA is conducting market research for alternative space and will possibly relocate if potential offerors can show the cost advantages of relocation to the Government. The space shall be Class A medical space on no more than one floor and shall provide 9,328 NUSF of space that can be a modification of existing space. On-site dedicated specifically to the government parking spaces for 49 vehicles is required to include 5 handicapped spaces. Documentation evidencing that the proposed property is outside the 100-year flood plain must be provided. A lease for up to 10 years, with termination rights after the 5-year firm term will be considered. The above requirements must be satisfied in order to submit a response. Responses are due February 20, 2019 at 4:30pm EST. Space within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered: North: Bearss Avenue South: Interstate 4 East: Interstate 75 West: Interstate 275 Expressions of interest shall include the following: Building name, address and age Location of the available space within the building Rentable Square Feet (RSF) available and expected rental rate per RSF ABOA/Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) to be offered and expected rental rate per NUSF Building ownership information Amount of parking available on-site; include its cost and indicate whether the expected rental rate includes such required for Government parking (if applicable).
