- Notice of intent to use a brand name product. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is performing a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide Automatic Tank Gauges that have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as Honeywell ENRAF Servo Gauge Model 854 ATG. Fiscal Year 18 project PAF 160600, Asia Pacific Resiliency Bulk Fuel Storage Tanks, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Darwin, Australia will require two new (2) automatic tank gauges. The existing bulk fuel storage tanks utilized at RAAF Base Darwin are Honeywell ENRAF Servo Gauges. The requirements for the automatic tank gauges are: a. Communications: Native communication to the existing Fuel Farm #7 automatic tank gauging system. b. Safety certification: TUV certified for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 (in single configuration). c. Method of level sensing: ATG must be a servo type gauge with floating displacer. d. Level measurement accuracy: Measuring accuracy level of less than 1.25 mm. e. Temperature corrected volume accuracy: Correct volume accuracy of less than or equal to 0.1 percent. f. Density measurement accuracy: Density accuracy of less than or equal to 1 percent. g. Temperature measurement accuracy: Temperature measuring accuracy to less than 0.56 °C. h. Operating pressure: Operating pressure up to 600 kPa. i. Enclosure rating: Ingress protection must be at minimum IP65 (NEMA 4X). j. ATG must integrate density and free water interface level measurement. k. Display: Local LCD display consisting of 2 lines with 16 characters per line. l. Output signal: Analog output must be 4-20 mA. m. Hazardous area classification: ATG must be explosion proof and IECEx approved. This notification is for market research purposes only to identify if other potential sources of supply can meet the requirements of the Government. This is not a request for proposals, quotes or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify other potential sources for this product. To be considered, please submit detailed technical data in order for the Government to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your product to ensure compatibility with the existing system. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The responder is solely responsible for the information it submits and any associated costs. The Government reserves the right to disregard any submittal that is incomplete or that is vague.
