- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Helicopter transport for personnel and equipment to the remote site atop of Ajo Mountain, AZ (Latitude 32.027222, Longitude -112.690389). Helicopter transport is needed in support of the solar power system upgrade at the Ajo Mountain Tactical Communications site. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price type contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov on the date established for receipt of offers February 7, 2019. Reference AMS Clause 3.3.1-33, paragraph (d), if the offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer may proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror. In addition, offerors must complete blocks 12 a-f; 13; 14 and pricing on the attached RFQ and return it by closing date. The FAA reserves the right to review and verify each offeror's program eligibility. Offerors must also provide a single page memorandum indicating your System for Award Management (SAM) active registration information to include Cage Code, DUNS number, business size, and proof of insurance IAW AMS Clause 3.4.1-12. The NAICS code for this acquisition is, 481211 Nonscheduled Chartered Passenger Air Transportation and the small business size standard is 1500 employees. Offers must be received by patti.ctr.owens@faa.gov and john.hawk@faa.gov later than 5:00 p.m. CST, February7, 2019. Emailed Offers shall be sent to patti.ctr.owens@faa.gov and john.hawk@faa.gov and must contain DTFAAC-19-Q-00027 as part of the email subject line. Any responses received after 5:00 p.m. CST, February 7, 2019, may not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of submittal vendor's response may be determined ineligible. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the RFQ process.
