Description

The United States Department of State's Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany is issuing this pre-solicitation notice to satisfy the requirement at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5 on the behalf of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) and the U.S. Embassy Jerusalem- Embassy Branch Office Tel Aviv (Israel). The U.S. Government has a requirement to replace four (4) existing elevator units at the Embassy Branch Office Tel Aviv (Israel). The units being replaced consist of two (2) 500kg (1,100lbs) duplexed operation, overhead traction, passenger elevators, a single unit (1) 400kg (882lbs) simplex operation, overhead traction, passenger elevator, and a single (1) 975kg (2,150lbs) simplex operation, basement traction, freight elevator. All units being replaced shall be replaced with the latest elevator technology, "MRL" (machine room less) P/M gearless (permanent magnet gearless motor/drive machine) or machine-room versions of "MRL" and P/M technology.
