Description
This notice is a request for information (RFI) only which as part of market research is being issued in accordance (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(e). This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes to obtain information related to general programmatic topics, price, delivery, product line capabilities analyses, and demographic/other market information. This is not a solicitation/Request for Proposal or a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no contract shall be a result of this synopsis. Responses to this RFI will be treated as information only and is strictly voluntary. The government is seeking contractors that can provide material handling equipment (MHE) without operators and construction material to locations in Somalia. The contractor should review the attached document and provide their capability statements in response to this RFI. The intent is for the government to compact market research against this RFI and determine if a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) can be awarded to one (1) or two (2) contractors at a later date if feasible. The attachments to this notice are as follows: 1. Price List Heavy Equipment and Construction Material All contractors can provide their information and capability statement to the government; contractors local to Somalia are preferred in respect to flexibility. The contractor is encouraged when submitting their capability statement to include the following information: 1. Name of Company- 2. Point of Contact (POC) Name- 3. POC Position Title- 4. POC Email Address- 5. Is the contractor System Award Management (SAM) Registered?- 6. Forms of payment accepted; eg Credit Card, Electronic Funds Transfer All questions shall be addressed to Sergeant Ronald Witt at Ronald.e.witt4.mil@mail.mil.
