- Market Survey - Aircrew Medical Services - Request for Contractors that may be able to perform. This is NOT a request for proposal. Interested parties are requested to respond with email to steve.cundiff@faa.gov. Please provide your business size and up-to a two (2) page company profile. ONLY ELECTRONIC REPLIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Federal Aviation Administration, Flight Program Operations, Aircrew Training Group (AJF-1600) has a requirement for a contractor to provide immediate access to medical advice, refurbish or repair medical equipment such as medical kits and defibrillators, and provide to FAA personnel initial and recurrent training for medical emergencies. These services are in support of the Flight Program Operations worldwide flight inspection missions. Performance Period: Services shall be provided starting August 1, 2019 for a one-year base period with four (4) one-year options to extend the performance period. The contract shall provide immediate access to medical advice, refurbish or repair medical equipment such as medical kits and defibrillators, and provide to FAA personnel initial and recurrent training for medical emergencies. These services are in support of Flight Program Operation ™s worldwide flight inspection mission. The requirement of each of these is listed below: The contractor will provide immediate helpline access for medical advice from a board certified emergency room physician for approximately 169 crewmembers while in an official duty and /or travel duty status at any international or domestic location during in-flight or ground emergencies. The contractor will provide management of initial and recurrent training classes for approximately 165 crewmembers for Management of In-Flight illnesses and Student injuries. Medical services are to be provided without limitation or training prerequisite for approximately 169 crewmembers to include Immediate Access to Medical Advice, 24-hours/day, 7 days/week Help Line, Emergency Ground Transportation Coordination, Local Medical Referral, and Local Prescription Medication Arrangements.
