- In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the only authorized distributor of manufacturer-Respiratory Technologies, Inc (RespirTech)-Nation Group, LLC DBA Jordan Reses Supply Company, a service disabled veteran owned business (SDVOSB), 40600 Ann Arbor Rd East, Ste 201 Plymouth, MI 48170. ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 inCourage Airway Clearance Vest Therapy with Device and Cart- For Hospital Use 6 EA 0002 ClearChest Comfort Band, Small (16" - 26") - 6/Pack - Single Patient Use for Hospital 2 EA 0003 ClearChest Comfort Band, Medium (28" - 38") - 6/Pack - Single Patient Use for Hospital 2 EA 0004 ClearChest Comfort Band, Large (40" - 50") - 6/Pack - Patient Use for Hospital 2 EA 0005 ClearChest Comfort Band, Extra Large (52" - 60") - 6/Pack - Single Patient Use for Hospital 2 EA RespirTech is the only manufacturer able to supply a disposable system, inCourage ® that uses a new generation proprietary triangle wave form with an air chopping valve for efficient mucous removal at a lower mean pressure. While the actual size of each HFCWO pulse is similar to that of competing systems, the inCourage ® system s patented chopping valve insures that the air pressure between pulses drops to almost to zero. This active venting mechanism allows the patient to breathe with ease. Each inCourage ® comfort vest is completely machine washable, without the need to disassemble before cleaning. The products weight, QuickFit Sizing system, and ease-of-use enables VA patients, in particular the elderly, frail, and/or Veterans suffering from impaired hand strength/dexterity, to use/operate it without the clinical staff assistance. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339112 and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, January 25th, 2019. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Please include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products outlined in this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
