- The Naval Facilities Engineering Center (NAVFAC) Expeditionary Program Office (NEPO) has a potential requirement for a Cold Formed Steel Mobile Factory (CFSMF). All interested parties are invited to submit responses describing their firms product; as well as their firms capabilities, qualifications, logistic and safety support with regards to supplying a CFSMF. Contractors should consider using the attachments provided as a template for their submittal. Attachment A provides a list of product specific information the Government wishes to ascertain regarding commercially available products that may meet the Governments requirements. Attachment B provides a list of company specific information the Government wishes to ascertain. Attachment C provides the Contractor with provisions to identify any pertinent past performance information. In addition to the information requested by the Government, interested parties are highly encouraged to provide any other information they deem relevant. Submissions should be limited to ten megabytes or less; and in a format compatible with Microsoft Office or Adobe PDF. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. NAVFAC is conducting market research to determine the range of available contractors and assess their capabilities to support requirements described. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested partys expense. As information received in response to this RFI may be used to structure future solicitations, if your party chooses to submit any business sensitive, proprietary, or otherwise confidential information, it must be marked as proprietary or restricted data in the response. Information received from respondents will not be shared with any other respondent. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the market research. Responses to this sources sought request for information will not be returned. An award will not be made on any information or offers received in response to this notice. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor that site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
