Description
This is a solicitation for construction prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(d), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate Request for Quotes (RFQ) will not be issued. Per FAR 5.202(a)(13), a synopsis is not required and will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4819-19-Q-7003 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses including those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-95 and DFARS change notice 20161222. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 and the size standard is $15M. The Construction Wage Requirements Statute (formally Davis Bacon Act) is applicable to this acquisition, General Decision Number FL190105 date 1/04/2019. This project intent is to install Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) in eight (8) ammo facilities located on Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB) Florida. In accordance with FAR 36.204(c) the disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Please respond to this RFQ by filling out the attached form then emailing quotes to 325CONS.Construction@us.af.mil (attention SrA James Sears) no later than 1:00 PM Central on Wednesday 20 February 2019 (or sooner if possible) in order to be considered timely. Please carefully review all special notes, instructions, clauses, and provisions contained herein to ensure compliance. A site visit is scheduled for 9:00 AM Central on Wednesday, 23 January 2019. If vendors are unable to gain access to the base please send a base access request to SrA James Sears via email: 325CONS.Construction@us.af.mil no later than by 1:00 PM Central on Tuesday, 22 January 2019. The base access request shall consist of all of the names of the persons desiring to come on the site visit from your company. Only two members per company will be allowed to attend the site visit, if any more names are submitted only two will be escorted on base. Contractors needing base access shall meet at the Tyndall AFB Visitor's Center the morning of no later than 08:15 AM Central.
