- Sources Sought Notice (Request for Information) No. 36C24819Q0188 3rd Party Elevator Inspection This is not a solicitation announcement; this is a sources sought notice only. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size status relative to NAICS Code 238290; Size Standard of $15.0 Million. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to form a reasonable expectation that two or more small business concerns owned and controlled by veterans will submit offers and that the award can be made at a fair and reasonable price that offers best value to the United States. Responses to this notice are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Medical Center 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando FL 32827, VHA Network 08 Contracting Office is seeking information concerning possible sources to provide the service described in the following Performance Work Statement Summary. The goal of this service support contract is to provide elevator inspection services. The Government intends to award a single, firm fixed price contract for the 3rd party elevator inspection services. The period of performance is for 12 months (base year) with four additional one-year option periods, to be exercised at the Government s discretion. All interested firms should provide the following information: company size, company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, veteran status (VOSB or SDVOSB), capability statement to perform the services, and a statement describing whether there is a reasonable expectation an offer/quote will be submitted at a fair and reasonable price that offers best value to the United States. Responses to this notice shall be emailed to: Marie Smith, Contracting Officer, marie.smith4@va.gov. Telephone responses are discouraged due to the large number of firms being surveyed under this NAICS Code. Responses must be submitted no later than 10 January 2019 at 12:00 PM eastern standard time. This notice is intended to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System of Award Management at www.sam.gov. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit that SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays should they be selected for a contract award.
