- Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, titled śRequest for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, ť this announcement constitutes a sources sought synopsis for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in an effort to derive a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order with a period of performance estimated 15 March 2019 through 15 April 2019. Vendors must be able to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-2035 for NDT Acceptance Criteria and DOD-STD-2185 - Requirements for Repair and Straightening of Bronze Naval Ship Propellers as well as being able to meet the requirements in the SOW. Vendors are required to have a Confidence Facility Clearance. A DRAFT Statement of Work is posted in conjunction with this notice. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall include the following information in this format: 1. Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and email address. 2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3. Statement as to whether the business is actively registered in System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) 4. Capability statement displaying the contractor ™s ability to provide the minimum requirements and demonstrate that it meets the requirements of MIL-STD-2035 for NDT Acceptance Criteria and DOD-STD-2185 - Requirements for Repair and Straightening of Bronze Naval Ship Propellers. If past performance information is provided, please include only relevant past performance on the same/similar work within the last 5 years. Please also include in the past performance information the contract numbers, dollar value, and period of performance for each contract referenced in the response to this sources sought. Submissions are to be no more than 10 pages and no less than 12 point font. Responses should be emailed to hillary.stansfield@navy.mil by Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM EST. Again, this is not a request for a proposal. Respondents will not be notified the results and the Government is not required to answer any questions submitted in regards to this sources sought notice.
