Description
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) intends to issue a sole source procurement action for Cocci Complement Fixation Testing and Diagnostic Immunodiffusion Testing with; UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS DUNS: 047120084 CAGE Code: 1CBG4 1850 Research Park Dr, Ste 300 Davis, CA, 95618-6153 The procurement is planned for a 5-year period beginning 02/1/2019. NAICS Code: 621511, Other Residential Care Facilities with a Small Business Size Standard of $32.5 Million. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21; This is a notice of intent to award a limited sources procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Contractor shall perform Cocci Complement Fixation Testing on VA Central California Healthcare System (VACCHCS) patient specimens, on an as needed basis, to diagnose and treat Valley Fever Disease. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent service as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this notice by 9 January 2019, 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Local Time to Charles Dutkevitch, Network Contract Office, VISN 21, by E-mail to charles.dutkevitch@va.gov. Responses received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Network Contracting Office will not reimburse any costs connected with providing the capability information.
