Description

Interested Offerors are instructed to follow instructions outlined in section L of the attached request for proposal solicitation. SCOPE OF SERVICES: This contract shall provide the Office of Logistics (LOG) with subject matter expertise to provide audit business process improvement, knowledge sharing, project management activities, and to provide financial transaction support for the Defense Travel System (DTS). Provide facilities support services for computer systems and data processing to assist LOG in meeting Chief Finance Office (CFO) with completing internal management control, testing, and audit readiness products - Process Cycle Memorandums (PCMs), Control Evaluation Matrices (CEMs), Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) OBJECTIVES: The anticipated contract shall accomplish the following objectives: Provide the LOG with onsite subject matter expertise to develop and improve business practices and internal controls to achieve and sustain an unqualified audit opinion for PP&E Support areas of capital equipment valuation, program management, internal control, and training with Assessable Units; Government Furnished Property(GFP) / Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), Real Property and Internal Use Software (IUS). Improve accountability practices, increase auditability, and guide reporting practices and procedures towards successfully complying with the requirements of the CFO Act of 1990, Goverment Management Reform Act (GMRA) of 1994, and guidance issue by oversight authorities. Perform work with a common framework, thus providing and supporting an integrated approach to PP&E activities that will transition to government staff.
