Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA), intends to solicit proposals from contractors to perform Roadway Slurry Seal Improvements construction services for the following cemetery location: San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery 32053 West McCabe Road Santa Nella, CA 95322 The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement around the week of January 7, 2018. Quotes will be accepted for approximately 20 days commencing with the issuance date of this solicitation. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, submittals, third party testing, labor and supervision necessary for the placement of roadway slurry seal coat treatment at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on roadway surface areas. Interested Offerors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments) from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, as no hard copies will be made available. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in Veterans Information Pages (VIP) VIP registration is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) database (when applicable), under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237310, business size standard of $36.5 million. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and Veterans Information Pages (VIP) information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must have a current registration in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no IDCs can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM. The solicitation will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Multiple awards are/are not anticipated and will be made on an as needed basis. All responsible sources may submit quotes for consideration by the National Cemetery Administration Contracting Service.
