- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Savannah District intends to award a modification to contracts W912HN-15-D-0001 and W912HN-17-D-0004 for a one time increase to the current contract capacity ceiling, from $95M to $108M. The intent of this action is to increase the contract ceiling in order to meet planned, time sensitive critical high demand requirements in a timely manner. Savannah District (SAS) initiated the programmatic acquisition plan for regional reimbursable construction requirements. This contract is an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order (SATOC) Contract providing general construction and design-build construction for rapid response involving new construction and upgrades, maintenance, and/or repairs involving, but not limited to, architectural interior/exteriors, electrical, mechanical, plumbing work, structural and fire suppression systems work, communications, renewable energy, roofing, ATFP, transportations systems (i.e. roads, highways, bridges, and/or parking) and/or storm water management systems to support military and other government agency missions, primarily in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Work involving the use of civil funds is not allowed. Task orders for design and demolition only shall not be placed against the contract. The work to be ordered under the additional capacity is the same type of work performed under the current contract. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements without unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is $36.5m. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time on January 2, 2018 a modification will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. The Government will post the approved justification in the near future.
