- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Polished Chrome Lock 9201 (Keyed in 300 series alike), Counterweight package 4 EA 7 Receive, Deliver and Install after 3:00 pm or on Weekend 1 EA STATEMENT OF WORK VA Loma Linda, California 605-xx-x-xxxx-xxxx Introduction The Loma Linda VA Medical Center is seeking furniture for conversion of Exam rooms to Treatment rooms and Group rooms to Group workstations. It includes labor to move items, de-install, and reinstall This procurement shall fulfill the storage needs and labor for providing stock to furnish offices and group rooms and moving excess items to storage at the VA Main building. Summary of Requirements Provide Various types of Metal storage. See Salient Specifications. No design required. Project location at ACC, 26001 Redlands Blvd, Redlands, California 92374. Project work to be scheduled after 3:00 pm Monday through Friday, or on the weekends. VA salient bid request requires that all salient specifications be met. Any deficiency in meeting specifications may cause full bid to be rejected. Award based on best value and not lowest price. Meeting environmental and ergonomic needs will be considered a high priority in the evaluations of the bids. Additional Requirements Assure that adjoining surfaces are not damaged by providing protection as required. Contractor shall be responsible to repair all damage caused by improper packaging damaged during shipment. Schedules, Lead Time Requirements Bid time with product review shall have minimal turn-around time. Refer to contracting officer for schedule requirements. As soon as possible a demonstration of the bidders recommending alternate Storage shall be conducted at the Loma Linda VA under the direction of the contracting officer and COR. See Vendors Bid Obligations below. Product lead-time for goods shall not exceed 8 weeks after the award. Vendor Bid Obligations Bid response to include itemized line items with costs. Indicate on bid if an item is Open Market and if there are possible MRc5 LEED point possibilities per each item. Provide supporting details if known. Fire ratings on all product materials must be provided within bid response. Actual finish samples must be provided if other than specified. Vendor must provide final material sample selections for approval if other than specified. The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13, and 19, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Small Business Programs, and Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337214 Size Standard 500 Employees. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The Contract begins on the date of award. Responses to the solicitation shall be due on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 3:00 PM PST.
