- Sources Sought Notice The Contracting Officer (CO) is contemplating the solicitation of a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for Patient Bed Maintenance services that could be used to issue individual Task Orders for service to every VA Medical Center (VAMC) in New England. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to invite interested vendors to indicate their interest to the CO. The technical requirements anticipated include: A 24-hour response time to have a qualified technician at the requesting site to begin service Technicians qualified to service the different makes/models of patient beds The vendor s proven ability to secure parts for the makes/models to be serviced The vendor s statement of which VAMC(s) they can service Periodic preventative maintenance and inspection service (some facilities may request monthly, some quarterly, etc) If using subcontractors, the prime vendor will be required to demonstrate the value added to the cost of the contract over the subcontractor s contribution The makes and models anticipated to be serviced (list may not be all-inclusive of types): Advanta 2 LTC Beds Excelcare Stretcher 4+ Totalcare Bariatric Totalcare Spo2rt Totalcare Basic Totalcare Modules Versacare P500 MRS - Matt Replace P500 Blower Stryker Models Fl20e Interested vendors should include the following information in their responses: Name of vendor Point of contact to receive solicitations Size of business, such as SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, 8(a), SB, Large Business, etc. Whether contract performance would be executed by the prime alone or using subcontractors Which VAMCs they would be capable of servicing NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-DEC-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
