- The objective of the Japan MCU Program is to upgrade the current E-767 airborne and ground systems. The MCU program is necessary to ensure the JASDF E-767 fleet and ground systems maintain commonality and interoperability with the U.S. as well as meet future regulatory requirements for military and civilian airspace control.
