- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Solicitation 36C25219B0017 Project: 676-19-107 Replace Medical Vacuum Pump B400 Location: Tomah VA Medical Center 500 E. Veterans Street Tomah WI 54660-3105 The scope of work for this project requires the contractor to remove and dispose of the existing medical vacuum tank and dual pump skid assembly. Contractor to provide the labor and materials to remove two (2) chilled water recirculation pumps, concrete slabs and motor control cabinets from the attic of Building 400 to provide space for the new Medical Vacuum Pump Assembly. This work also includes the labor, material and supplies to provide the Tomah VAMC with a completely installed and fully functional new Duplex 70CFM, 3-Phase Rotary Claw Pump, 120 Gallon Tank Mounted Medical Vacuum Pump System. Project includes alarm connection to an existing remotely installed Beacon Medaes MEGA 2 Medical Electronic Gas Alarm located at the nurse s station on the 4th floor. Period of Performance is a net total amount of 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 10 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. Submittals shall be completed within 14 calendar days after the NTP. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 HVAC, & Plumbing; size standard $15.0 Million applies. Estimated price range for construction is between $150,000 and $250,000. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at: https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.FedBizOpps.gov (FB0) on, or about December 17, 2018. A pre-bid site conference and a site walk-through for this solicitation is tentatively scheduled for December 28, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. CST. All interested offerors, subcontractors and suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend.
