Description

The purpose of this Amendment 00002 is to answer the following questions that were received: Question There is a part of the contract that says Replace can you tell me if this means we have to submit pricing to anticipate replacing such things as the fire pump and are you including replacement of all components in the maintenance contract? Answer As stated in the PWS: Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, travel, and materials to repair or replace any equipment covered in this contract, to include but not limited to: Alarms, Sprinklers, Fixed Fire Suppression Systems, PIV, Rolling and Fire Doors, Fire Extinguisher or Suppression System that are discharged due to use, premature failure, or failure during any inspection and testing procedure, this includes replacement of fusible links. Work is to be conducted in a manner which would present the least amount of disruption to the healthcare facility. Contractor is responsible for all damages caused by their company or their sub-contractors. Contractors should build into their pricing the possibility of having to replace some of the equipment due to: discharging due to use, premature failure, or failure during any inspection and testing procedure. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-DEC-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
