- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the Qty 1 EA; VMI Model:5100MS, Software, Monitor, Workstation and Accessories in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to Virtual Media Integration, 5001 Commercde Park Circle, Pensacola, FL 32505 due to the IP's that are compatible with the scanner are ideal for the x-ray energy levels below 3 MeV. This makes the scanner a perfect candidate for the 160 kV x-ray facility.T he system includes the glass imaging plate (IP) cassette that will protect the imaging plates from intimate contact with the rollers or other features in the scanner. The glass IP cassette travels through the scanner and the laser is able to detect and reconstruct a radiographic image through the glass. This notice is not intent for a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893619Q0082 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
