- Description
- SYNOPSIS GT-Suite Annual Software Maintenance The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Assessment and Standards Division (ASD), National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL), Ann Arbor, Michigan, intends to purchase annual software maintenance for Gamma Technologies GT-Suite. The OAR NVFEL SACO anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to Gamma Technologies. EPA has identified Gamma Technologies as the only contractor able to meet the requirements of this acquisition. The EPA Assessment and Standards Division (ASD) requires continued use of Gamma Technologies software to support our advanced vehicle simulation and modeling work. GT-Suite is a trademarked programming and modeling computer software program already utilized by ASD engineers, which has supported the design and implementation of complete engine combustion systems for full vehicle modeling systems. GT-Suite ™s unique features allow engineers performing this work to graph and tab representations, including state transition diagrams, flow charts, state transition tables, and truth tables, in order to model real time and offline complete combustion systems. Specific software functionalities required are: Modeling environment, graphical components, and simulation for full vehicle and HIL systems Complete combustion simulation systems State diagrams, state transition tables, and state transition matrices representing finite state machines Flow charts, functions, and truth tables for representing algorithms State diagram animation, state activity logging, data logging, and integrated debugging for analyzing the design and detecting run-time errors Static and run-time checks for transition conflicts, cyclic problems, state inconsistencies, data-range violations, and overflow conditions This procurement will be accomplished under commercial item procedures FAR Part 12. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements within 15 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Sources wishing to be considered MUST submit documentation to the office identified above. This documentation shall establish the respondent has the ability to meet all the requirements identified above, and shall cite specific examples of previous similar work, including client names and contact information. Submit your documentation in writing to Angel Taylor via email to taylor.angel@epa.gov. Telephone requests will not be honored.
