- The purpose of this amendment is to provide the VAOS Sample Task (see attached document, VAOS Suite Sample Task-Demo Instructions), Questions and Answers (see attached document, VAOS - Questions and Answers 12-6), and provide Request for Proposal (RFP) Amendment A0001 (see attached document, 36C10B19R0006 A0001). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP); the solicitation number is 36C10B19R0006 (see attached document: 36C10B19R0006). The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Connected Health Office (CHO) have a requirement for sustainment of the VA Online Scheduling (VAOS) Suite. The VAOS suite consists of three web applications. The first web app, VAOS, enables Veterans to directly schedule an appointment or submit a request to VA scheduling staff members to make an appointment. Features include not only booking appointments into VA primary and specialty care clinic openings, but also VA telehealth appointments and telehealth session support. Additionally, VAOS is the app Veterans use to check eligibility for community care treatment, search for community providers, and request community care appointments. VA staff members use the second web app, Scheduling Manager (SM), to process the requests for appointments from Veterans using VAOS. The third application is the VA Tool Set, (VATS), which is a small staff-facing only application used to configure VAOS at VA Medical Centers and Health Care Systems. The Government requires Agile development and maintenance support including project management, application lifecycle management, and production troubleshooting and adaptive, preventive, perfective, and corrective maintenance for the VAOS Suite of web applications: VAOS, SM, and VATS apps and related Veterans Health Information System and Technology Architecture (VistA) patches supporting both the VA caregiver community and the external Veteran community. The effort includes optional tasks to provide continued problem resolution and defect management support and coordination to support all code that was released into production with less than 90 calendar days remaining in the period of performance; Cerner integration feasibility analysis and planning; additional continuous delivery release windows; and transition support. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541512. This solicitation shall close on December 13, 2018 at 2PM EST.
