- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) desires to lease sufficient Rentable Square Feet (RSF) of existing real property to yield up to approximately 5500 ANSI/BOMA office area (ABOA) within Johnson County, TN for use as a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Mountain City, TN. A minimum of 40 on-site parking spaces (of which, 2ea handicapped) near building entrance is required. The space should be on a city bus route or near the interstate for accessibility. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider space located in a one story stand-alone existing building as well as a ground floor location in a multi-story office building or within a strip mall/shopping center setting. There must be access to the leased space beyond routine office hours (before 8:00am/ after 4:30pm and on weekends). Offered space must comply with all Government requirements for fire safety, seismic and sustainability standards, and ADA code requirements per the terms of the lease. A fully serviced lease term up to 10 years will be considered. Space within or fronting the following boundaries will be considered: North: Eagle Nest Lane South: Lumpkin Branch Road East: Pinecrest Street West: W. Main Street Potential offerors shall thoroughly and completely read all documents in the solicitation package accompanying RLP 36C24918R0298. Offers are due Monday, November 26, 2018, 3:00 pm CST. Question Submission regarding RLP 36C24918R0298 shall be submitted via email only to the Lease Contracting Officer (LCO) no later than Monday, November 12, 2018, 3:00 pm CST. No questions or requests for clarification will be accepted via phone. The LCO will issue an amendment to the RLP no later than Friday, November 16, 3:30 pm CST addressing all questions. If no questions are received, no amendment will be issued. With respect to all matters relating to the lease acquisition for the subject project, only the LCO shall have the authority to issue and amend the RLP and award a Lease.
