- Description
- The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award an order on the Raytheon Missiles Systems (RMS) Basic Ordering Agreement for the Tomahawk Government Property Upgrades for Modernization and Obsolescence. This effort is expected to be completed in approximately twenty-four (24) months from contract award. The award of this effort is expected in the third quarter of fiscal year 2019. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to RMS, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337 (Point of Contact for interested in subcontracting - Melissa Green - (520) 663-9375). RMS is the only known source capable of accomplishing this requirement in the required timeframe and without duplication of costs. RMS solely possesses the current configuration and manufacturing data for the Tomahawk Cruise Missile required to complete this effort. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The data associated with the Tomahawk Missile is export controlled and is not available to foreign sources or representatives. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-DEC-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
