Description

30 CES requires purchase of security escort services from a contractor with valid facility clearance for restricted areas issued by the Defense Security Service. The escort support includes providing daily coordination with the general contractor performing the project at Vandenberg Tracking Station (VTS), remodeling rooms 151, 152, and 153 at building 23225. The security escort provider must comply with Air Force Instruction 31-101 as well as local security requirements by the user's security office. The security escort provider will enter into an appropriate Visitor Group Security Agreement with the 30th Space Wing IAW AFI 31-601 requirements. The period of performance is for approximately 43 days on-site. The following market research was conducted IAW FAR 10.002(b) which states, "Market research is then conducted to determine if commercial items or non-developmental items are available to meet the Government's needs or could be modified to meet the Government's needs." NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-NOV-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
