- 70F REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 70FBR919I00000003 BR919I00000003 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, FEMA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) mission is to support our citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from and mitigate all hazards. One of FEMA's responsibilities is to ensure the effectiveness of emergency response personnel in responding to emergencies and disasters. Types of disasters and emergencies that could happen in the continental United States (CONUS), as well as outside the continental United States (OCONUS) locations include, but are not limited to, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, cyclones, tornadoes, blizzards, acts of terrorism, tsunamis, and avalanches. To support this mission, FEMA is soliciting for Up To 1,000 Temporary Roof Repairs on Saipan and Tinian. See attached SOW. Please provide a capability statement for Saipan and Tinian. Responses are due no later than 2pm EST on December 1, 2018. All responses should be sent to: Carolyn Knight, Contracting Officer at: Carolyn.Knight@fema.dhs.gov.
