Page 1 of 1 This is a Sources Sought (SS) Notice only, not a solicitation announcement and should not be considered as such. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This SS does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Contractor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this SS is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for the establishment of Training Van Modifications. The van modifications shall include the installation of and the following: Revability Advantage SE w/14 lowered floor (Eldorado) EMC AEVIT 2.0 evaluator driving equipment w/eval panel W/L multi-axis steering system Removable steering wheel system Quick release hand control mount Sure-Grip Hand Control set of four styles mounted on left (4) Sure-Grip Hand Control push/rock mounted on the right (1) mis. Brackets for all mountings Driver eval steering tool and mechanical instructor break Seat belt mods to allow for driving from wheel to chair B&D six-way transfer seat base Q Straight self-retractable tie downs The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of Small Businesses capable of performing the requirements to warrant a set-aside. The proposed solicitation is to furnish all materials, labor, equipment and transportation required to provide Surgical Ear Instruments to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Cleveland VA Medical Center. Contractor shall also comply with any other federal, state, and local laws applicable to the industry. Potential sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge of required services and capability to provide such services. Potential sources should submit: business name and address; point of contact; business size, and any applicable business socio-economic category; capability statement; provide information for recent and relevant projects similar in nature; DUNS number; contract number if applicable; and brochure of equipment. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336390 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Rachelle Hamer at rachelle.hamer@va.gov.
