- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Tri-Mission in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. The solicitation covers scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services for the facility's standby generator systems installed at the American Embassy and Residential properties in Rome, the American Consulates in Milan, Florence and Naples, Italy. The Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the U.S. Government. Total estimated number of generators to be serviced per year: 10. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. Please note that in order to be eligible for a US Government award SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations. No electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
