Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Draeger, Inc., 3135 Quarry Rd, Telford, PA 18969. The period of performance is January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020 with a provision of four (4) option years. Potential offerors shall be capable of providing full preventative maintenance services, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and labor, O2 sensor replacements, flow sensor replacements, SPO2 sensor replacements, unscheduled repairs, documentation of service, and software upgrades. All services shall be performed by an OEM certified trained technician. The service agreement will cover the following government furnished equipment: Manufacturer Model EE# Serial # North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204697 ASCK-0459 North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204698 ASCK-0460 North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204699 ASCK-0461 North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204700 ASCK-0473 North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204701 ASCK-0474 North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204702 ASCK-0487 North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204703 ASCK-0488 North American Draeger Apollo 4.3 204704 ASCL-0016 Draeger, Inc is the only known provider since the maintenance can only be provided by Draeger, Inc. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by December 10, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Richard.Amodeo@va.gov.
