- The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)-Fort Lee, VA is issuuing this sources sought as part of market research in acordance with FAR Part 10 to identify vendors capable of providing support in preparing for audits conducted by independent public accountants to comply with legislative, regulatory, and Department of Defense (DoD) mandates for fully auditable financial statements in accordance with the standards of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). DCMA is both a reporting entity and a service provider. As a reporting entity, DCMA is responsible for the compliance of its processes and the accuracy of its financial statements. The services DCMA provides to its customers must also comply and contain accurate financial data, so the financial statements of the reporting entities it serves are accurate. DCMA's reporting entity customers can only pass their audits if DCMA's services comply with AICPA standards. DCMA is a service provider to other DoD agencies in the areas of contract payment, government property, and transportation. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION NOTICE ONLY. This Sources Sought Synopsis is issued for maximizing competition. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) IS 541211, "Offices of Certified Publick Accountants". Size Standard: $20.5M. Market research is being conducted to determine potential business sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The results of this request may lead to a future synopsis announcement in FEDBIZOPPS as a Request for Propsal. Interested sources are invited to respond to this announcement by submitting the following information: 1. Company name and address. 2. Point of Contact with email address. 3. Type of Business: Identify whether your firm is a SBA certified 8(a), certified HUBZone, VOSB, SDVOSB, SBA, certified WOSB, and/or EDWOSB concern. For more information on the definitions or requirements for these small business programs, refer to http://www.sba.gov. 4. Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 5. Additional information which demonstrates the ability to meet/fulfill this requirement. Include a copy of your company's SBA profile from http://dsds.sba.gov and your company's System for Award Management (SAM) printout.
