Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY - This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) or via General Services Administration (GSA). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command- Carlisle Barracks is exploring options for Contractor performance of conservation and preservation services to include vacuuming of documents and artifacts that have inactive powdery mold for the US army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC), Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania per attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government's intent is to award one (1) Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. Respondents shall not be obligated to provide the services described herein and it is understood by the United States Government that the cost estimates provided as a result of this request are "best" estimates only. Vendors who are interested should reply via email to the Contract Specialist (Dahalia Trevenen: dahalia.k.trevenen.civ@mail.mil) and Contracting Officer (Larry Brown: larry.l.brown2.civ@mail.mil) and provide a copy of the company's Statement of Capabilities. The intent of this RFI is to establish the potential for Small Business Set-Aside. Vendors who are capable of meeting the requirement via a GSA contract should reply to that effect.
