Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 140AA1619Q0020 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611710 with a small business size standard of $15.00M. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2018-12-11 15:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be in the Statement of Work. The Bureau of Indian Affairs requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: Base Period of Performance: 01/01/2019 - 12/31/2019 LI 001: Under the general direction of the Principal, it is the role of the Counselor to provide school-based counseling services to special education students identified as needing counseling services in their IEPs at Havasupai Elementary School. The Counselor will work with teachers and staff to support successful student integration and support. This position requires specialized subject matter expertise in mental health counseling, special education, crisis management, behavior management and social skills training. The Contractor shall provide the following services at a minimum: Develops and implements effective counseling with individuals and/or small groups of special education students receiving counseling as identified in their IEPs to provide assistance in meeting academic, social, emotional and behavioral needs. Assists with school based intervention teams to identify students who may require intervention and specialized support services. Assists with the identification of students for special education programs where social/emotional and behavior needs have been identified. Develops appropriate counseling goals and behavior intervention plans in coordination with the multidisciplinary team. Assists school staff with the implementation of behavior interventions and/or management plans. Assists the multidisciplinary team in conducting functional behavior assessments. Maintains counseling logs and documentation of services provided as required for ISEP verification. Maintains confidentiality of counseling sessions and information except when the student ™s condition requires intervention as in the case of abuse or threat of suicide. Cooperates effectively in role of counselor with appropriate agencies, community groups and school organizations. Works cooperatively with and coordinates the use of local community referral services. Operates a government owned or leased motor vehicle in the performance of their duties. Performs related duties as assigned.
