Description

This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources (small and other than small) to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 332812 and sized standard is 500. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. Project requirements: Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, material, incidentals and expert supervision needed to: refurbish the interior drain pan, blower assemble and flooring of air handler compartments, Air Handler #31 Remove all non-compliant coating and foams. Reinforce surfaces to restore structure of drain pan, blower housing and flooring of air handler. a. Clean and prepare all surfaces to be epoxied, isolate ductwork from air handler to insure fumes are not introduced to patient wards b. Apply epoxy at no less than 3/16 inch thickness on drain pan, housing and floor. c. Finished product must meet NFPA 90A fire code standards and ASHRAE 62.1 requirements for HVAC Drain Pans d. Clean hot water and chilled water coils to improve air flow e. Work must be after hours and a detailed schedule must be supplied to VA Anticipated period of performance: The goal is to have the work completed on or before January 15, 2019. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide the required services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, contact information and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
